Abstract

This article presents the conclusions of an internal research programme from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry « Direction de l’Enseignement » held from 2003 to 2005. The programme achievement is an authoring model named M.A.Ï.HEU.T.I.C. for organizing and writing digitalized teaching materials in a proper pedagogical way. This model aims at educational efficiency based on a proper didactical organization of the teaching content on the computers’ screen-page which is performative of the teaching intentionality of the author. M.A.Ï.HEU.T.I.C. provides the authors with: -* a logical structuring of the training contents and its design according to the documentation engineering process, -* an authoring method based on the classical rhetorical forms to defi ne the authors’ pedagogical intention, -* an ergonomic layout, -* the XML language for an automatic and simultaneous publication of the same document in three different formats (Web, printed document, and slideshow for a face to face class). Seven multimedia courses have been produced so far using M.A.Ï.HEU.T.I.C. They totalize 250 class hours. They are available at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bank of Digitalized Teaching Materials.
