Abstract

This article examines the underlying pedagogical principles underlying the AMUQuiz and Kaïros learning platforms, which were independently developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The differences in how these principles were implemented during development are analyzed, including the use of an adaptive algorithm based on the Elo ranking system in AMUQuiz, and the implementation of problem-based scenarios to promote active learning in Kaïros. The article also discusses the role of learning platforms in a post-pandemic context, emphasizing the importance of preserving fundamental pedagogical principles such as trust in each student, combating the illusion of knowledge, and fostering increased personalization of learning.
