Ingénierie des compétences et scénarisation pédagogique
Engineering competencies and learning scenarios
Abstract
This article describes a competency-based instructional engineering process of a self-assessment activity and its integration into the pedagogical scenario of two distance courses. This description is based on information gathered during two implementations in academic distance learning contexts. The instructional engineering is carried out using a competency-based modelling approach to design self-assessment activities into the learner scenario. This process is supported by a web tool called Competences+ developed at LICEF. Our approach focuses the teacher-designer’s attention on learner-centered design, which emphasizes the learner’s self-assessment of knowledge and validation of real-life professional competences to attain course objectives.
