Soutien du corps professoral dans une initiative d’enseignement avec les technologies de l’information et de la communication à l’Université de Montréal
Support by the professorial staff via an ICT-assisted teaching initiative at l’Université de Montréal
Abstract
The integration of technology in teaching and learning at the Université de Montréal has undergone a significant and unexpected growth since September 2000. The university’s centre for faculty teaching and learning, {Centre d’études et de formation en enseignement supérieur} (CEFES), has contributed to this expansion by developing a range of strategies (e.g., SUITE teams, faculty communities, teaching grants) and providing a large number of activities for faculty and lecturers (e.g., workshops, seminars, conferences). The purpose of this short paper is to provide an overall portrait of the model adopted at this institution to support faculty and lecturers in their design and development of teaching and learning activities that integrate technology.
