Distance Education and the Evaluation Process During the Internship of Student Teachers: The Case of the Académie de Limoges
Abstract
This teaching note describes the way the French Limoges Superior School of Teaching Practice adapted their way of evaluating the future teachers of English to the uncommon COVID-19 pandemic situation a few weeks ago. The faculty implemented a whole system of online oral assessments replacing the classroom certification and thus avoided the lockdown drawbacks. It represented a challenge in terms of timing, organization and capability.
